If he don't return your calls or txt then you should talk to him in person and at least tell him that you would like to have him as a friend. If he don't agree with that then move on theirs no need to be sad over a man knowing that their is plenty of other men out there who would love to have a chance with you.
Being a Cancerian myself, I feel it's unlikely he will call. He is probably quite stubborn and feeling hurt. Cancerians tend to turn away from complicated, difficult situations.
I would leave him alone for awhile - like a couple of weeks. If he's missing you and is genuine, he will call eventually. If he doesn't, then he wasn't the right person for you. That person is still out there.
