Zodiac, what transit is finally allowing there to be such media awareness on Bullies?

Whether it be about homosexuality, cyberbullying, or Mel Gibson and his toxic bully behavior,

it seems like there is a strong media awareness and coverage on the issue of Bullying..

What transits or aspects could be responsible for this..

Besides the fact that October was domestic violence awareness month.. I think the trend had began earlier than that. It is a good thing though, for support and awareness.Zodiac, what transit is finally allowing there to be such media awareness on Bullies?
I'll not make a dissertation out of this answer.

That's the double edged sword of the Pluto in Scorpio generation you're seeing at work there. Even Mel Gibson, who was born well outside this era, is a product of it to some extent. Consider his Mars in Scorpio.

First, the increase of bullying is caused by people of that generation who are seeking out power within their ranks. That's to be expected to some level, since teens have always had a pecking order; now you have Pluto in Scorpio kids without any form of structure at home, raised in a Pluto in Sagittarius (excess) environment that denies them nothing, and interacting in a very Plutonic way.

Then you have the other side of Pluto in Scorpio; that which brings the taboo and criminal into the light of day and exposes it for hte would to see so that it can be transformed. You will continue to see this type of thing during the adulthood of Pluto in Scorpio; there will be workplace violence similar to what you see in schools, only more hidded, and eventually, people will pull it to the surface and expose it, and it will be dealt with.

The biggest change will be during this Pluto in Capricorn cycle, where the deep, oppressive restrictions of the Capricorn environment will be playing against the violence and brutality of the Pluto in Scorpio people. It should be very interesting.Zodiac, what transit is finally allowing there to be such media awareness on Bullies?
I wonder the same thing, but I can't find an easy answer. Was Julius Caesar a bully? Was Hitler a bully? Is Mike Tyson a bully? Are trolls within the horoscope section bullies? Is a bully strictly defined as someone who steals your lunch money, and then shoves you in a locker?

What is a bully? Before we can accuse someone of being a bully, it is important to have a clear idea of what a bully actually is, otherwise we end up doing nothing but tossing empty insults at things we just don't like subjectively, without ever taking an objective look at what could be bothering us. We then mow down an entire field of symptoms, without getting to the root cause, and it will keep sprouting up. It's a cultural question, and a generational one, with no easy definition.

Also, when did the major problem with bullying, begin to surface?

We have more violence, *graphic* violence, now in film, music, and television than we ever have. But, we also have more strict guidelines and laws against violence and hatred, than we ever have before in world history. I can't help but think the two coincide, because there is an inherent desire in human nature for violence.

Human's want to be violent. If we can accept this, and talk about our need and desire for violence openly, the world would probably have much less violence. It's no different from repressed sexuality, or repressed identity, or any other sort.

In my anthropology course a couple of years ago, I watched a groups of young boys from a small tribe in the Trobian Islands, beat eachother with clubs. The child with the most gruesome and the largest bulges on his head, was practically worshipped. No one cried about it. No one got arrested, or expelled from school or their tribe for their violence.

Yet, in the U.S., we have groups of lawyers, genuinely wanting to remove dodgeball from schools, because someone might get offended.

To explain all of this to you succinctly, would take much more effort than I am prepared to give to Yahoo at this time, but I think this problem with violence has it's first roots in the Holocaust with the Nazi Regime. The damage to humanity, did not stop with 6 million Jews. There is a psychological scar tissue from this time period for the modern Western world.

More recently, I would trace it back to Pluto's transit through Scorpio. This is when the Columbine Massacre took place, which is most closely linked to the obsession with bullying, in my opinion.

Although Pluto was no longer in Scorpio when Uranus and Neptune began their transits through Aquarius, the generation with Pluto in Scorpio was greatly affected by this.

Uranus/Neptune in Aquarius, has a little bit of delusion, a little bit of dogmatism, a little bit of idealism, a little bit of reform and a little bit of martyrdom all mixed in together. This all started to take place right after Columbine. I can see an antipathy to dodgeball with this mixture.

You also have to keep in mind, that the media shows what it chooses to show, and this trend began long before you or I were even born. Humanity, at one point, would have laughed at the idea of 'bully'.

I am not saying that I am for or against bullying. But, to this point, no one has provided a true definition of what it means, or how significant it really is..

In some cases, I think the victim becomes the terrorizer, however. In a book called "Astrology of Fate" by Liz Greene, she mentions the peculiar fact, that women who are raped by one man, are often raped multiple times by other men. Rape victims, tend to have it happen to them several times.

In the same way, that women who are in one abusive relationship, tend to be in many abusive relationships.

Forgive me if I ask this question too boldly, but... : Why?
