What do some of these zodiac terminologies mean?

I'm well familiar with the zodiacs, their being either cardinal fixed or mutable, and their elements, even their birthstones, but I hear of people mentioning *blank* 'sun/moon', a planet (I mostly hear Venus/Mars I think), 'rising/setting', and 'nth house'. Can anyone explain these terms? What do some of these zodiac terminologies mean?
go to astro.com put in your birth time, it'll give you a chart. your sun sign is determined by your month and day of birth, your rising is your "personality" and that's determined by what time you are born.. your moon sign will be whatever sign the moon was in that day you were born.. same goes for mercury, venus, mars, etc..

moon is your emotional undercurrent type of thing, mercury is how you communicate, venus is love, mars is passion or style/how you take action..

those later planets are generational, also interesting but they're called the outer planets and the inner planets are called our personal planets..

there are 12 houses.. 1st is the house of self, 2nd is possesions, third is communication, 4th is the home, 5th is fun children love affairs? 6th is service or health? 7th is relationships. 8th is sex and financial resources.. 9th is education and higher learning, 10th is career, 11th is public or social contacts i think, 12th is inner living and imagination?

Whichever house your planet falls in will sort of give a new flavor to its interpretation.. Your planets will make aspects to each other, depending on where they are in that circular natal chart.. Ie: if two planets are close to each other within a couple of degrees that is called a conjunction.. Two planets across from each other would be called in opposition.. And so on...What do some of these zodiac terminologies mean?
